My name is Carlee Johnson, and I am the owner of Communication Collective LLC. As a dedicated speech-language pathologist for the past five years, I have proudly served the Henderson and Las Vegas communities. After graduating from the University of Montana, I relocated to Henderson, NV, where I gained extensive experience in various settings, including private practice, school-based environments, and skilled nursing/home health rehabilitation. I have a passion for providing personalized therapy to individuals across the lifespan, supporting meaningful and functional communication at every stage of life.
I chose to become a speech-language pathologist because I believe that communication is one of the most powerful tools a person can possess. My passion lies in helping children and families find their voice—whether it's through clearer speech, stronger social skills, or more confident communication. Through my work with Communication Collective LLC, I aim to support individuals in a meaningful and personalized way, meeting them where they are and celebrating every step of progress. I love this field because each day presents an opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s ability to connect, be understood, and thrive.
I am certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and currently hold licenses as a speech-language pathologist in both Nevada and Montana.

Communications Collective LLC provides personalized, one-on-one speech therapy for children, teens, and adults. Services include articulation therapy, language development, social communication skills, fluency/stuttering support, and swallowing therapy. Each plan is customized to your goals, communication style, and real-life needs.
Most clients do not need a referral to begin services. You can reach out directly to schedule an evaluation. If a referral is required by your insurance or provider, we’ll guide you through what’s needed and help make the process simple and stress-free.
We take a relationship-centered approach—meaning therapy is intimate, supportive, and tailored to the individual. Our sessions are personalized, meaningful, and focused on real-life communication, not just worksheets or drills.
Formal evaluations use standardized tests to compare a child’s speech and language skills to same-age peers, while informal evaluations look at how those skills are used in everyday activities including play, conversation, and activities of daily living. Together, they provide a complete picture to guide accurate recommendations and meaningful therapy goals.
If your child has been evaluated for speech and language services in the last 6 months, an evaluation may not be necessary to begin services. Please provide us with any informall/formal testing that was completed on your child in that timeframe prior to starting services. Children with an active Individualized Education Plan (IEP) through their school district do not require and evaluation to begin services, unless requested. Please provide us with the latest copy of your child's IEP prior to the start of services.
